Ellinor Melbye
Ellinor Melbye has a BSc in chemical engineering, a BSc in economics and an MBA. She is currently project director of Petrad, where she has been responsible since 1994 for training programmes on the petroleum sector in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the former Soviet Union.
She spent nine years with Statoil in various posts, most recently in the international division as manager for the Angola project and head of a team analysing political risk .
Melbye also spent two years as assistant resident representative for the Norwegian Directorate of Development Cooperation (Norad) in Mozambique, responsible for industry, energy and women's projects.
She has been a member of the board of directors of Statoil North America, and is currently member of the board of Amnesty International Norway.
